FILM

I was hangin' around tha other night lookin' for a particular feelin'. Somethin quiet and strange and beautiful with a soundscape to take me away. Tha hamster in my brain whispered in my ear "John Carpenter's The Fog". My goddess whut a piece of wurk. A b-side cast to kill, and one of tha eeriest most beautiful realms to sink into.

MUSIC

I got some sick fam out there, and in Paris their name is FECAL MATTER. They just pushed out a single that beats mah brain to a pulp an lifts me above a lotta tha mire a lot of us are all buried in. It's called DIE WITH YOU and I'm proud of em for birthin it into tha remarkable universe they are creatin for themselves.

BOOK

I am a creature of repetitive habits and one place I always go to is tha world of Edward Gorey. His story THE WILLOWDALE HANDCAR which can be found in the collection AMPHIGOREY gets me to a place I could roll through forever without ever lettin go.

THEATRE

If you got more money than Scrooge McDuck and a ticket to New York City, all I can fu**n say is get ur butt to the Lyceum Theater an see mah baybee Cole Escola's play OH MARY! I've robbed several banks and mugged a few vending machines an have seen it four times.

TELEVISION

Being a fan of Murder She Wrote, an a biiiiig lover of Kathy Bates, you can bet I been scratchin to see her in tha reboot of Matlock. I luv Kathy Bates. What a frikkn wonder. Brilliant actress an incredible woman. It's her curtain call. She's done actin after this. Tha woman does NOT disappoint. Jessica Fletcher would be so proud.

GIG

I'm finally gonna be able to see ANOHNI in Brooklyn on Oct 19th. I'm gunna drift in there on a fog bank of calm carrying a deep emotional crock pot of alllll the current madness of this world. I am so very excited to witness this great performer in tha flesh.

ART

I have had a dear soulmate for many many years named IVA GUEORGUIEVA who always blows my mind to pieces. We are in sych, always. She recently shared an immense solo show that opened at Night Gallery in Los Angeles, where she lives. I was brought to stank tears. Images forever seared in my head.

THE NEXT BIG THING...

We are gonna start goin to social underground salons again in homes and basements and ugly bars after closing. We are gonna leave these ugly controlled digital realms that police us and watch us and judge us. What a strange fu***n world.
