The Rick O'Shea Book Club is Ireland's largest book club with 40,000 members in over 100 countries - and they've just launched their annual Xmas Appeal.
This is the seventh year of the ROSBC Xmas Appeal - to date, it has raised over €230,000 in aid of Irish charities since 2018.
This year's chosen charities are the DSPCA (Dublin Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals) and The UNICEF Ireland Gaza and Lebanon Appeal.
The ROSBC has been run on Facebook since 2014 by RTE Gold's Rick O'Shea, and remains a choice destination for lively literary discussion online.
Rick O'Shea says: "All I ask is that if you have gotten any enjoyment from the ROSBC this year, like the radio show, or want to support the work of some amazing organisations, consider donating the price of a book for these incredibly worthy causes. How much that book costs is up to you."
